Catholic Bishops report months ago: we lobby for unaccompanied minors
Posted by Ann Corcoran on July 4, 2014
Kevin Appleby, USCCB lobbyist and author of the 2013 report predicting the invasion from Central America. Did the Bishops mission help make it happen?
Last night when I wrote about Laura Ingrahams tweet, here, about the fact that the US Conference of Catholic Bishops Migration and Refugee Services program is 98% funded by you (the taxpayer), I should have linked this post that I wrote back in February.
See the whole thing but note what the Bishops said in their November 2013 Report on their mission to Central America:
At the national level, the USCCB department of Migration and Refugee Services lobbies to improve options and services for undocumented minors, and oversees a country-wide network of mostly Church-affiliated agencies that administer foster care programs.

Catholic Bishops milk taxpayers while pushing amnesty! Are the big guns in conservative talk-radio starting to get it?

Tonight fellow blogger Richard Falknor alerted me to this tweet at Laura Ingrahams twitter feed:

Context for Catholic Bishops Amnesty Support: Fed grants make up 93% of USCCBs migration/refugee budget http://shar.es/MFEZp
The link sends followers to a story about how much the US Catholic Bishops receive from the US taxpayer citing their 2011 annual report.
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Migration and Refugee Services has published its 2011 annual report.
According to the report, over 92.5% of Migration and Refugee Services $72.1 million budget came from federal grants and contracts, while under $25,000 came from private donations.

Thanks! Great info!
And don’t forget La Raza. They surely have jumped on the band wagon. Here is the site for Southwest Key Programs

SKP receives $150 million a year helped UAMs be reunified with their families. Never deported, but the set up is handled easily since all you have to do is set a date a year out and when they don’t show, oh well.
Betting SKP gets a lot more money with that 4 billion dangling before them.

I seriously doubt Rush will do more than soft pedal this unholy pact between church groups and the government; Hannity, too. They will probably see the churches as being used for their compassion, when they are really active participants in human trafficking and are functioning as government adjuncts. Beck is a silly mess. Levin is up to his eyeballs in constitutional law. Laura Ingraham - I’m not sure about as I don’t catch her too often. The only one who will drill down to the truth is Michael Savage, who feels the churches should be stripped of their tax exempt status if they are participating. I think the others are afraid of offending their listeners, most of whom are church-going people. Well, we have Big Government, Big Media, Big Business, etc. so I guess we should add Big Religion.
