Well, 200 just got dropped off in Nebraska.

LINCOLN, Neb. — Nebraska Republican U.S. Sen. Mike Johanns said Thursday about 200 undocumented children have been placed in Nebraska after arriving at the U.S. Border, most of them from Central America.

Johanns’ office said the U.S. Department of Homeland Security officials said during a June 27 conference call that a number of months ago, about 200 children were placed with families or sponsors in Nebraska, often after turning themselves into the U.S. Border Patrol and released under light supervision while awaiting deportation hearings. He said that number could be higher than 200, since it changes often.

The children placed in Nebraska are part of the wave of children from Central America who have been shuttled by coyotes to America’s border and overwhelmed Texas facilities. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is charged with finding a place for the children while they await court dates, and sometimes they go to relatives or sponsors in places like Nebraska.

“That is not a surprising number,” Johanns said. “These kids are probably getting scattered all over the United States.”

This administration certainly has taken the path of “don’t ask for permission, ask for forgiveness” on all things. Only there is no follow up on the second part of that expression.

What legal provisions does the federal government have to do this? What law, where in the constitution?

There are needy children all over the US. Why are they not being helped instead?

It is the responsibility of each state citizen to find out through their congressman if illegal aliens are being resettled into their states.

...”getting scattered all over the United States.”...

Only about 18% are “kids”...the rest are not.

IMO by the time anything is done to stop this it’ll be a done deal. Alibama’s style is to overwhelm any system...or barge through anythng stopping his agenda. He knows those who oppose him aren’t prepared to stop him soon enough to make the difference.

Spreading diseases along with these people’s mental issues and as much unable to speak the language...you can bet we’ll be paying for “language” and “culture” instructors to take care of the hoards adjustment needs.

Meanwhile how many “Illegals” are housing these “Illegals?

I have no doubt Alibama’s mission to overwhelm the border and the system will bring the desired end he’s looking for. There is no “time” to oppose this current hoard coming in unless the towns and communities rebel against it.
