We all know the woman is not very smart.

At all.

And, I really think Sarah Palin would clean the wench’s clock in a debate. (Go ahead and laugh, but Sarah has far, far, FAR more examples of her accomplishments than does the wench who married a grifter.)

But still being displayed at Costco?
++++
That’s what I hear. Sort of shoots down the theory that “Blood Feud” was pulled because of slow sales.

"Does this mean we will soon be able to get Hillary’s book off the sale/closeout rack? Will it be at the 99 cent store?"

Why would anyone want to know? I don't see any reason to buy a copy at any price, including free.

Question: I always thought that an author's "advance" was just that..an "advance" against projected future royalty earnings..and if the book didn't sell, they had to be repaid...Otherwise..it's not an advance..

I believe that thew normal industry scale is 15% of the book's cover, or list price...thus as Hillary's book's cover price is $35..she'd earn a royalty of $5.25 for each book sold..

The story says it's sold 160,000 copies..so she's earned $840,000..enough to cover about 5% of her advance..

Yes, there are e-book sales..overseas rights, and at some point, paperback rights..but these are minimal..

So, why'd she get such a big advance? Who signed off on it, and why? How did her other books, and Bill's do?.How big a bath were they?...So why would a publisher pay that much for another clunker?

the book was never supposed to be a seller, it was supposed to be cover for political donations.

When she makes appearances the attendees will be “buying” copies. (not really the organizers will be buying the copies as a means of giving her money, the books will never leave the boxes and be resold again and again)

Finally, how does one recycle over 800,000 copies of unread books? Perhaps they could be sent down to the socialist nation of Venezuela with the biggest oil reserves in the world to be recycled as "papel de tush" which the people there are sorely lacking.

Who wants something that would make your butt dirtier than when it started?

Simon & Schuster doesn’t really care about sales. They got their trophy author and will be on the A-List for posh liberal gatherings for years.

Oh my!

Some people on eBay are asking $1,299 for a signed deluxe edition.

I don’t see any bids either.

Looks like a lot of people are going to end up with expensive door stops.

Told ya all, so!!! Go back to my posts of months ago. Wrote that Hillary Clinton was going nowhere!!! The TV and press media are totally out of touch with the reality of the world and politics!!!

I again repeat: the Democrat Party must either force Barack Hussein Obama to resign or impeach him...or the Democrat Party will go down with him come, November 4, 2014!!! End of story!!!

And the Clinton Foundation!

The newest status symbol on Streets K and Wall, no doubt.

As someone who works in publishing, that’s truly shocking. She doesn’t have to sell a lot of books to keep in the top 100 on Amazon for some time.

There has been a lot of misinformation about the success, or non-success, of this title on both sides of the political spectrum but for a launch with that large of an advance to not be in the top 100 after only one month since launch is truly stunning.

You have to look at the offers. Very few have offers to buy the book. Just because you put it on ebay doesn't mean you will sell it. Some have it listed at 99 cents. I only found one signed copy bid up to about $65.00. Other signed copies had no bids at all.
People always say “Well I saw it on ebay for such and such a price.” You can put any price you want on an object. But will it SELL for that price? That is the million, or in this case, the 14 million dollar question.

From the article, on how they track readers:

“It works like this: Every time people highlight something in a book on their Kindles, Amazon records that data.”

That’s scary.

The newest status symbol on Streets K and Wall, no doubt.

Usually left leaning labor unions, charities, businesses and other well heeled groups that support democrats rush in and make large purchases to prop up sales stats.
