Black Americans have moved from Slavery, to Jim Crow, directly into the arms of the Democrat Party and the welfare state. The majority therefore have always been a captured, controlled and dependent people.

It was the Republican Party that gave Blacks citizenship and the the vote, allowing them to become elected officials at every level during Reconstruction.
