Remember, Nixon was targeted for taking out known communist Alger Hiss.
No way W&B would do anything to the man (Obama) that has done more to advance communism than Stalin and Lenin combined.
Nixon was also targeted because he insisted on prosecuting the Vietnam War; the same people who started it (the Kennedys, McNamara, the DC and NY media and intelligentsia) turned against it with vehemence when their idiot strategy went south and they found a handy target to blame in Nixon as being primarily responsible for the war (I’m not talking about McCarthy or McGovern, who at least were consistent). Its called projection of your own faults and failures on others and unfortunately, it worked.
