In an email interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Palin opened up about her favorite episode from season one, Hillary Clinton's new memoir, whether she has aspirations to host her own political talk show and why she finds today's political system "incorrigibly disastrous."

Any interest in doing a political talk show, either on TV, radio or the Internet?
Maybe. But the politics would have to be interspersed with a whole lot of fun and real life and inspiration showcasing American work ethic, because those topics are all pretty much the antithesis of today's politics, which I find incorrigibly disastrous! It'd be so much fun to shake it up taking on issues that make audiences objectively consider all sides, and I'd do it with my own real-life groundedness, candor and commonsense that I'm known for. Media needs that today, versus the condescension that oozes from TV and radio. I hear everyone recently got canned from The View, maybe a show like that needs a punch of reality and a voice of reason from America's heartland to knock some humble sense into their scripts. You know, someone willing to go rogue.

Based on Governor Palin's throwaway comment about The View, there are at least 3 articles now about how she's shamelessly touting herself for a position on the re-vamped talk show.
Sarah Palin says she's ready to go rogue on 'The View' - Detroit Free PressThey're worse than Pavlov's dogs.
Yeah, people are making her comment out to be a lot more than it really is.
Rather than take a job on “The View”, it would be better to create a similar show around Mrs. Palin. Her talents would be wasted on ABC.
Got more respect for Pavlov’s dogs... those poor creatures didn’t have a choice in the matter...
I don’t blame her for looking at it.
Whoopie “bubble@ss” Goldberg reportedly makes $2 mil a year for showing up and doing 42 minutes of blabbing times 200 episodes per year.
Talk about a gravy deal....
and breaking wind
I think Barbara Walters did ask Sarah to consider the show a few years back, at the first cresting wave of her national fame, but Sarah declined. The View has since removed Ms. Hasselberg, or the only conservative from the show, due to fan complaints, so I don’t know if they would consider such an Arch-conservative as Sarah right now. I think Sarah realizes she made a mistake with her present reality show. Sarah went on that Fisherman’s cable station most have never heard of or cannot pick up to view if they wanted to.

Give her a show on MSNBC. Call it The Real World.
