“Contempt”
I think that is right. The Clintons have contempt for everything. They were true, Baby-Boomer socialists when they were young. They came to realize that socialism doesn’t work. They decided then to change course and get as much wealth as possible. Underneath it all, the Clinton’s feel betrayed and sorry for themselves. They thought they had it all figured out when they were young. Time and experience hit them between the eyes like a baseball bat and they became vindictive and vengeful.
They were true believers in their youth. Hillary always more of a believer than him.
Then they came to like money. Even more so, they came to detest all the little people they originally felt the calling to fight for. Now, she just sees socialism as her vehicle for more money and power. He just uses any excuse he can to get women and hear himself talk (about himself).
