The publishing house was currying favor with elite liberals... and possibly buying future access to Clinton... It's like those million dollar speeches Hillary gives in Arab countries like the UAE... this has little to nothing to do with the official cover story. Carney doesn't have future access to sell... he would have to push 'new exposed dirt' or 'great insight'... and we know Jay lacks great insight...
Still I think Hillary’s publisher was hoping to make back more $. Few thought her sales would be this bad.
