100%I once met a scholar who had the last name Scaife (who died fairly young a few years ago). As far as I know he was not related to the famous Richard Scaife, or if so only distantly. I recall a conversation with a leftist professor in the same field who was extremely vitriolic in his comments on Prof. Scaife, because he was convinced he was Richard Scaife's son. Classic case of a loony leftist.
