I like VDH’s work. But the prime factor in Hussein that he is in fact a muslim. Whether it is a desire to be “fair” or just the conservative bent to civility, the pretense must stop.
No one says it except online here and elsewhere, Hussein is muslim, therefor he will always act in whatever he perceives to be the muslim greater good.
He is not ignorant that the muslim model of the greatest good is destruction of the US, Israel, and the West in general.
Once you grasp that, Hussein’s policies at least make sense.
