Hillary is a bald eagle. She’s an apple pie on a windowsill. She’s so American that she was named after both Washington and Lincoln.
After all those criticisms about the formerly broke, currently “not truly well off” First Lady, Hillary Clinton got the chance to lay out her vision at the Aspen Festival of Ideas.
“We have to do a better job of getting our economy growing again and producing results and renewing the American Dream so Americans feel they have a stake in the future and that the economy and political system is not stacked against them,’ Clinton said.
What a novel and unique set of ideas that was not at all exactly the same stump speech politicians have been giving since 1974.
Clinton, nodding to her middle class, Midwestern roots, said she is “product” of the American Dream.
“Of course, Bill and I are so grateful for the success we’ve had, but we remember where we started and where we came from and what the contributing factors were that gave us the opportunity to be successful,” she said. “And we don’t want to see that lost.”
What are those factors again?
Bill made $56 million speaking to foreign groups. That’s where most of the Clinton cash came from.
Is the American dream stealing White House furniture and then making a fortune from foreign interests who expect payback when you’re elected?
Although slightly more than half of his appearances were in the United States, the majority of his speaking income, $56.3 million, came from foreign speeches, many of them in China, Japan, Canada and the United Kingdom, the Post review found.
China? Nothing to worry about. As Al Gore said, there’s no legal controlling authority.
Clinton said she made women and girls a central issue of her foreign policy work as secretary of state because in many repressive countries around the world, women’s rights and rules about their bodies are used by men for political reasons.
As Hillary ought to know considering the time she defended a man who raped and beat a 12-year-old girl into a coma by accusing the child of being a mentally ill slut.
That’s the American dream right there.
Not to mention the bag of cash from the Loral Space Kickback.

I look at her as the White Democrat answer to Whoopi Goldberg. to ugly to .... whatever.
99% of politicians are millionaires, often from “humble” background. The more humbler the background, the more return on investment, it seems. I wonder what happens when they enter politics.
