So he’s got the integrity and the goods. He sure as *ell should be working with state officials and making damn sure people get in there to check the condition of those children NOW. Walking up being told no and saying “I tried” sounds like a stunt. Getting in there would be action.

I’d be in that security guard’s face demanding entry!

Admiral Nauton tried that with a Marine Corporal. Guess where he is? Fired and fined and out of the Navy.

I wouldn't want every congressman to have access to all military facilities at any time, simply because there is some chance a congressman is a traitor.

But Congress should give itself full access to all executive facilities and to portions of military bases and national security and homeland security facilities being used for non-military purposes.

From post above: He was recently promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve where he flies the E-2C Hawkeye, a surveillance and operations command aircraft, in Central and South America in support of America’s war on drugs.

So looks like he would easily have on hand a military ID card that would permit him to enter the base.

Myself, I would have just stood there, turned to an aide, and informed him that this will be the congressional office until such time as the inspection is over with, please notify the media, security, and constituents. Then turn to the drone and ask, 'How long should I let them know I'll be here until you let me in?'

Two totally unrelated situations. Naughton should have been out well before for his abuses.

Did he have an ID card to get on the base? If he didn’t then he should not have access to just go into the base anytime he feels like it.

He had just had a session with the Base Commander. So, he certainly was authorized to be on the base.

Visiting a brown shirt Obamatown to see for himself is asking for trouble. This could have played out like Rep. Leo Ryan visiting Jonestown.

He is an active Reservist...so he has an ID card.

He is also a Congressman. No post commander or lower ranked officer will deny entrance to an active House member...if they want to be promoted

Justina Pelletier was held captive 16 months by the Department of Children and Families (DCF) of Massachusetts, because the parents were deemed to have been “abusing” the minor, and were not allowed to make any decisions relating to their daughter.

The relocation of these minors from another country is just a much larger exercise of the same kind of unilateral authoritative bureaucratic takeover of parental rights. Nobody will be allowed to talk to or observe these children because the HHS “knows best” what is to be done with these unaccompanied minors.

The right thing is to charter as many ships, planes or buses necessary to transport them all back to their native countries and reunite them with their blood relatives there. But that will not happen.

He's on the House Armed Services Committee. Does that entitle him to enter?

OK, then he needs to grow back his pair or get them out of whatever lockbox he put them in when he became a congressman. Past history is history. It’s what you do today to make that stand against the current tyranny.

In deference to him, maybe he’ll come back with guns blazing. I hope so.

He’s also a retired Navy/Navy Reserve pilot, he has access to the base; and yes, membership on the HASC entitles him entrance.

Why in hell would this illegal operation be “need to know”? Only if Il Douchebag classified it as such and if he did then the question is what are the hiding from an elected representative on the HASC?

All the secrecy invites someone to start a rumor to spread via social media to Latin America that Homeland Security is processing the children into dog food or some such nonsense.

....”Why in hell would this illegal operation be “need to know”?

Ask any worker within the camps...who have their cells confiscated and told they’d be fired for speaking of the diseases and sickness these children and mothers are bringing in.

Fox is reporting on this......some of the workers are “telling” anyway because of the shock they had in entering the camps and seeing what they’ve seen.
