I was in Target when a couple decided to grab a TV and head to the rear door. A cop was in the store and chased them, yelling freeze. They got in a fist fight near my family. The cop ended it with a few boot stomps (from his jack boots I’m sure :). The perp and his family sued the cop for excessive force. I told the police department the cop did the right thing.
I wasn’t carrying that day. That was the last time I went to the store without my gun. Target can ask politely and I’ll politely ignore.
