Unless there is an official no-guns sign posted on their store entrance, it is perfectly legal to bring in a gun in this state (NC). I’ll continue to concealed-carry in the local Target store. Even if they do put up a sign, I’ll probably decide to ignore it. The issue of self-defense is too important to be diminished by this feel-good PC nonsense.
Assuming you have a conceal-carry permit, that means you are willing to put your permit at risk for the privilege of shopping at a store that doesn't respect your rights.
I have a hard time seeing signs. Im sign blind. Besides that even if there is a sign, it is a misdemeanor at best to carry. If you get found out and if the store wants to make an issue of it. The only way I would be found out is if I needed the firearm. After that I wouldn’t care if the store got a little upset....
I bet you they will backtrack and “ask” people to not open carry.
Or they will just put a dumb plastic sticker on the door with a gun and a slash through it.
That doesn’t cut it in Texas as a lawful prohibition on concealed carry.
That said, I’ll make sure they don’t get my money anyway.
in colorado there is NO legal no-gun sign. if outed all they can do is ask you to leave. if you don't than there are complications. i just ignore them when i have to.
