Is it just me, or do those pieces of legislation which trample our rights take effect immediately, while those which bind government take months or even years to go into effect?

I believe that a subtle, slow, determined, responsible, and thoughtful campaign will ultimately lead us to where we want to be on this issue. Little victories will add up in time. they already are in fact.
