I like Arlington. From Wiki...
Arlington is a city in the U.S. state of Texas, within the DallasFort WorthArlington metropolitan area and Tarrant County. According to the U.S. Census Bureau’s estimate, the city had a population of almost 374,000 at the end of 2011,[3] making it the third largest municipality in the metropolitan area. Arlington is the fiftieth most populous city in the United States, the seventh most populous city in the state of Texas,[4] and the largest city in the state that is not a county seat. Arlington is the largest city in the United States without a comprehensive public transit system.[5]

The GOP should lead the way in development of communities by announcing well ahead of time where the convention will be held, and hold it in a smaller, less conspicuous, conservative town in need of development. Like the Olympics, this will spur a measure of growth and, hopefully, bolster conservatism while starving the mostly liberal big cities.

(The last time the GOP ran an "extremist," Reagan won 44 states.)

Tampa was the host in 2012 and the city wasn’t Republican, the county of Hillsborough is. Of course, Mayor Buckhorn, Tampa’s mayor, is a DINO. He is to the right of Graham and McCain.
