SALTILLO, MEXICO - Distressed long runs under strong sunlight, enduring freezing temperatures at night and sheltering from the rain where they possibly can, and do not even remember exactly when they left their homes in search of the " American", but they are sure to sleep and take more than a month camouflaging among hundreds of migrants who have found their way.
With a small piggyback just three years named Bryan, a young Honduran family to death daily challenges and new lots of trouble trying to get to Houston, the promised land where Alexander says find a better quality of life.
A few feet away, with outstretched hand on a cruise Saltillo is Veronica, who at age 24 left in Tegucigalpa your older child as young as seven years in charge with his mom, to finish primary school.
In the vicinity of the railway, some saltillenses stop for a moment to give them some money, others give you water bottles and if you're lucky enough to receive one another ticket, but also those who call out to him and offend, and in some places, they have requested sex in exchange for taking them to another city, a situation that ensures not accept for any reason.
"I really miss him, but I know that one day I will see my son, I will send for him when I have money, because if you stay in Honduras is intended for lifelong poverty, there is no Mexico and can not imagine what people who battle to survive, "says Veronica, who rubbed a bandage on his left hand, injured after falling from train at Veracruz.
The little family is just an example of a phenomenon which occurs daily in Central America and faithfully portrays poverty, social injustice and lack of opportunity for millions of people, believing that to penetrate the U.S. border problems are be resolved as if by magic.
"Otherwise we risk not win, that's what many families do every day in Honduras, come to seek their fortunes, many make it and others do not, but we do we will succeed, God is with us," said Alexander, who is three years younger than his wife Veronica.
DO NOT EVEN THINK
When I first opportunity to leave Honduras were raised, the young couple did not think twice and spent only a few days to drop everything and take her youngest children to begin the journey to the land of their dreams.
"We collected 100 Lempiras (equivalent to 400 Mexican pesos) to leave Honduras, but that's what we were charged for passing Guatemala, and then the problems started," because they have advanced only when the charity of people allows them to put together some money to pay coyotes network operating in the railway, known as the Beast.
On the border with Mexico, things were not easy, since they had to pay a thousand dollars for the metieran the country by the state of Chiapas, where they hid from the immigration authorities a few days in the jungle.
COME FROM FRONT TO DEATH
The worst that has happened in life we lived in Veracruz. There they met death in the face at the hands of the criminal group the Zetas, which ask all occupants of the train a quota of 200 pesos.

A BREAK MOMENTARY
Migrant houses there along the route are for this family a space to rest, where they open the doors to offer food and a dry place to spend the night.
"Here we are treated very well, but you can not stay long, just one or two days, as many arrive every moment with their stories and problems, there is everything, pregnant women, children aged 10 to 12 years and women alone, who have already suffered abuse of all kinds throughout the trip, "says Alexander.
"There is everything good people, but also criminals who are willing to do anything to hunger, but know that we are in another country with the toughest cops play ... we have not won, but we've been very difficult days where only achieved eat our son, and that you can pull over to other things, and I hope not, "says Veronica.
