I’m not angry at Oldman. I’m simply sad, maybe even depressed at how oppressive our society has become.
My wife said she felt sad for him. (She had read the original article a few days ago and was reading it to me and the kids, often times stopping skipping parts of the quotes with an “oh - I can’t read that”.
I don’t care for the vulgar language, even though I’ll think it in my head. But I wouldn’t say that to a friend I’m disagreeing with.
Like I told my wife, I don’t feel sad for him. If you’re going to give an interview (as opposed to a hidden tape), saw what you mean and mean what you say. No apologies. And maybe be a little more refined in your language. Although it WAS for Playboy, so I imagine the interviewer may be using some colorful language as well, and perhaps goading them along.
