WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is asking Congress for $500 million to train and arm vetted members of the Syrian opposition, as the U.S. grapples for a way to stem a civil war that has also fueled the al-Qaida inspired insurgency in neighboring Iraq.
The military training program would boost the Obama administration's involvement in the conflict between forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar Assad and opposition forces. The program would supplement a covert train-and-assistance program run by U.S. intelligence agencies.
The Senate Armed Services Committee has already approved a version of the sweeping defense policy bill authorizing the Defense Department to provide "equipment, supplies, training and defense services" to elements of the Syrian opposition that have been screened. The Senate could act on the bill before the August recess.

Where is McCain? He sure has been quiet after the syrian terrorists he and obama support went to Iraq and started to lop heads off by the hundreds.
But to know that the only ones bombing ISIS in Iraq is Syria. Then to know Israel is bombing Syria basically aiding the very Group that is establishing the Caliphate...well “stuned” does not quite cover my head scratching....lol
If Obama wants to give money to his Jihadi friends, he can get it from his Facebook Pajama Boy and other cronies.

This particular hashtag #CalamityWillBefallUS is a warning from certain people about the possible consequences of another US attack on #Iraq.
The last time we funded the “moderates” in Syria, the bad kids marched right in, kicked their keysters, and stole the lunch money and military goodies we had given them.
Expect a repeat performance, except Barry knows full well what is happening.
I don’t think running up our credit cards to buy our enemies guns is a good idea.
I thought ISIS is the Syrian opposition.
