What exactly has McConnell done to fight Harry Reid, other than work
deals with him to screw the American public?
Not much... of course, when you’re in the minority against a hard-nosed demagogue like Reid, what avenues are available?
Not defending McConnell... but this upcoming election was at one time a rare chance to kick Reid’s ass to the back bench.
Obamacare passed without a single Republican vote. McConnell deserves a lot of credit for that, especially given the “moderate” Repub squishes in the Senate. I also appreciate not having to hold my breath over the years whenever McConnell appears on the Sunday shows, because I know he’ll represent conservative principles well and avoid the media traps other Repubs so easily fall prey to.
