The bottom line is this: it depends on the margin in the Senate.

Remember when Scott Brown said that he would be the 40th vote to block Obamacare? That mattered.

If we seriously think that the Senate would go 50-50 if McConnell loses, that would matter too.

But if the Senate goes 54-46, then I can live with 53-47 if means a Senate without Mitch McConnell.

I'll even take 52-48. 51-49 gets into dangerous territory because of the Jeffords flip.

So, what's your prediction of the GOP margin in the Senate?
