I have supported Kurdish autonomy for a long time, so I think it’s a win. They are Kurds right now before they are Sunni Moslems. Give them a half century of their own country and maybe that sunni moslem garbage would overcome them, but for that half century at least, they’d be a counter-force against the fascists.
Yeah they opposed Saddam a Sunni power, i assume they will oppose Iranians and the Syrian rebels. Align with Turkey who supports Assad. So not terrible i think in that help hole part of the world.
