I always wondered about Reid announcing to the world that he knew that Romney didn’t pay taxes. Problem with that one is I don’t think it turned out to be true. But still....
Well a sitting GOP senator. NOW there will be hell to pay. Some tea party groups that don’t fall in line with the GOPe .. not so much.

Congressional investigators say they uncovered emails Wednesday showing that a former Internal Revenue Service official at the heart of the tea party investigation sought an audit involving Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa in 2012.
The emails show former IRS official Lois Lerner mistakenly received an invitation to an event that was meant to go to Grassley, a Republican. Grassley presumably received Lerner’s invitation.
The event organizer apparently offered to pay for Grassley’s wife to attend the event. In an email to another IRS official, Lerner suggests referring the matter for an audit, saying it might be inappropriate for the group to pay for his wife.
“Perhaps we should refer to exam?” Lerner wrote.
It was unclear from the emails whether Lerner was suggesting that Grassley or the group be audited — or both.
The other IRS official, Matthew Giuliano, waived her off, saying an audit would be premature because Grassley hadn’t even accepted the invitation.
“It would be Grassley who would need to report the income,” Giuliano said.
The name of the event organizer was blacked out on copies of the emails released by the House Ways and Means Committee because they were considered confidential taxpayer information. Grassley and his wife signed waivers allowing their names to be released.
Grassley didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
The IRS says it has lost an untold numbers of Lerner’s emails because her computer crashed in 2011, sparking outrage among Republican lawmakers who have accused the tax agency of a cover-up. The emails released Wednesday were among the thousands that have been turned over to congressional investigators.

This kind of targeting going on against a wonderful Democrat Senator — File story after story connecting the Administration to the e-mail. Fire the perpetrator, IRS Commisioner, make the POTUS resign.

Since nothing will be done and everyone will get away with it, why even bother getting upset about this?
If the dems want to save the IRS, they should call for a special prosecutor now because the person that runs on abolishing the IRS in 16 might just win that elusive landslide we’ve been looking for.
It’s almost a no brainer.. that and militarizing the border.

American Patriot Grassley tried to protect Americans w/ his amendment to the Senate amnesty bill: "Congress should not thumb its nose at the millions of Americans who are victims of identity theft, often perpetrated by an undocumented person who steals Social Security numbers to get jobs, govt benefits, driver's licenses and more.
"This amendment would simply require the person applying for RPI status to disclose any previously used Social Security numbers," said Grassley. "It's the first step to helping clean up the mess that's been created for the victim of identity theft. The amendment also authorizes certain federal agencies, upon receipt of this information, to notify individuals who were the victims."
IS SEN SCHUMER COMPLICIT IN THE IRS/OBAMA CONSPIRACY AGAINST SEN GRASSLEY?: Dismissing Sen Grassley's proposal to protect Americans, Sen Schumer (Dem-NY) said: "When people are living in undocumented status, there are times, I suppose, when they've made up identities, made up Social Security numbers. How are they going to remember all that? (The) purpose of this bill is to bring people out of the shadows. We all know when they lived in the shadows, they had to forge documents, forge Social Security numbers, et cetera. I just don't see how, when you've lived here 10 years, and you've had many different identities, many different numbers, you're going to remember them all," said Schumer.
This is a crime. The shriveled up old hag needs to be in jail. Unfortunately, she will get a fat pension and a cushy job, compliments of the democrat party, to reward her for her loyal service.
