You know those proposed EPA power-plant rules that weve been going on and on and on about? Now you can go on and on and on about them yourself.
The Obama administration has opened up the official 120-day public comment period, after the proposal was published in the Federal Register. The EPA will accept feedback through Oct. 16, so nows the time to speak your mind.
Heres how to comment.
The big enviro groups are going to be pushing to make the rules stronger, while industry and Republicans are trying to undermine them.
The EPA will consider all the feedback and finalize the rules by June 2015 but the fighting and litigation will continue indefinitely.

I doubt that the EPA will consider ALL feedback.
And the “denier” comments will be disregarded and possible irs audits will be conducted. Not that there will be an email trail. ;>} But, it never hurts to at least give it a shot.
If you email, may I recommend copying your senators and representative in your response.
Think I’ll tell them how much CO2 we’ll keep out of the atmosphere if all EPA bureaucrats were to give up breathing.
I usually “cc” them on a lot of stuff. I also use “popvox” to keep up with bills coming up for action and usually get responses from my peeps that were voted in to go to d.c. I sometimes do NOT refer to them as my representative because a lot of the time they don’t represent my thoughts, beliefs or interests. Any way, try of the “popvox” site. Seems to work pretty well. You can include a message to your congress critter or send it without, either for or against a pending piece of legislation.
The EPA hasn’t much time before the Atlantic multidecadal oscillation flips from its warm mode to its cold mode (in progress), and all the arctic ice comes roaring back, proving them to be the liars that they are.
Thanks for that link.

What, and have the IRS up my a!#?!? No thank you.
We need an informed response!
Can some knowledgable FReeper draft a 2 or 3 page scientific & economic response.
Many of us have references and some background, but we must come across as informed and factual, rather that whiney and emotional.
Ah yes, far better to let the EPA show congress and the media:
“See, everyone in the public who cares agrees with us.”
I am of the opinion, multiple copies of the same language cut & paste does not make the point that multiple unique expressions of thought put out.
However, I will provide some bullet points later in the day.
No problem. I try to guide folks to it just like I try to “suggest” folks coming over to FR. Some do it, others, sadly, just don’t care.
The 120 comment period is a courtesy f**k to convince the gullible we still have a republic.
PFL
I concur.
Thank You!
This rule will not go to congress for approval.
But the congress members that fight against it, and those that accept it without notice, do come up for re-election.
The IRS is RESISTANT to practically ALL FEEDBACK. It's a ONE WAY connection.
They're ONLY interested in the COLLECTION of MONEY. Everything else is dedicated to that end as witnessed by the TESTIMONY from Lerner on down.
( Sorry, previous post done WITHOU coffee being ready yet )

They're ONLY interested in the ENFORCEMENT of RULES created by the EPA . Everything and anything else is dedicated to that end.
