Successful evacuations have occurred in St. Paul, St. George, Adak and Atka. No tsunami reported in Shemya yet.

We’ve confirmed that the earthquake was felt strongly on Adak and Shemya, both over 200 miles away. No reports of damage yet.
I’ve been tdy many times to Shemya albeit many years ago. base has been renamed and is undergoing a overhaul I’m told. prayers for the construction crews if still there.....
