They will even kill you over $200 or so. This and other cases like it are documented in the 1981 book To Harass Our People: The IRS and Government Abuse of Power by former Idaho Congressman George V. Hansen.
Grab it if you can find it. Just publishing the book got Congressman Hansen run out of congress and imprisoned on bullsh*t charges which were finally overturned in 1995.
