There used to be a CFL franchise in Ottawa called the Rough Riders, as opposed to the Saskatchewan Roughriders, who were founded in 1910. The Ottawa team was named after Teddy Roosevelt's crew in 1898 and folded in 1996. Ottawa sports team colours are red and black. A new, 'politically correct' franchise will start the 2014 season sporting the name Ottawa RedBlacks. How pathetic!

That said, if someone wants to be offended at the name, they will be.
