BREAKING: Texas-Led Border Security Surge 'Imminent'
Breitbart's Texas ^ | June 18, 2014 | Bob Price

Posted on 06/18/2014 5:59:50 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

HOUSTON, Texas—State Representative Debbie Riddle (R-Tomball) told Breitbart Texas she spoke with Governor Rick Perry’s (R-TX) Office and they confirmed the surge to deal with the Texas border crisis is about to begin. Details are not available at this time, but Riddle said, “It is going to happen.”

Riddle spoke with Governor Perry’s office about the issue and was assured it “is going to be coming soon.” She said Governor Perry’s office is working very closely with Lt. Governor David Dewhurst’s office along with the office of House Speaker Joe Straus.

“They are gathering together everything they need to begin this right away,” Riddle said. She told Breitbart Texas that she could not divulge any information about exactly when, how long, and where the surge would be for reasons of operational security. She also could not disclose what the operational objectives would be at this time.

Riddle said, “We are going to feel this particularly here in the Houston area because of Houston’s role as a command and control center for the cartels--for both their drug and human trafficking operations.” She added that Texas Department of Public Safety Director (DPS) Steve McCraw told her last week that Houston is still the hub for these operations.

Riddle said, “Governor Perry is very angry that the feds are doing nothing about this problem.” She went on to say, “I didn’t expect the feds to do anything."(continued)

LOL. I only mentioned office politics because most of us can relate to those rules whichever side you choose, go along to get along or make a real difference; but you can successfully do it if you know what the game is. We the people want a real difference while politicians and others want to blow it up.

Over half of the Texas border is real nasty country with no road access and no water.

This fascination with the Rangers is funny. They are not the force they were 20-30 years ago. They have had their share of affirmative action and neutering done to them. There are a few old boy types left, but not many.

Obama has known about this issue..he has been given the best intel one could get. He REFUSES to do anything about for personal political gain.

They know where these cartels are at in Mexico and elsewhere. Give the Mexican President an ultimatum and bomb the hell out of the cartel compounds. If Mexico won’t comply, stop trade...it’s only 1.6 bil per year. Make it off limits to vacationing like Cuba.

Actually, the problem is not that the politicians and others are doing it. That’s obvious. What are going to do about it?

Right now we are not at war with Mexico we are at war with the clown and his idiots in the white house for destroying our country for his own pleasure..I doubt that clown will even live in this country after him and his free loading family leave Washington..

We need to send all of those illegals to the white house gates and drop them off telling them their daddy lives there..

You have no intelligent argument or point to make, so instead you resort to childish name-calling in two postings. If that's the best you can do, then just read the threads but don't make any comments. You're embarrassing yourself.

You are right the people on the other side should be arrested theones waiting for the roaches and then send back to MEXICO STRAIGH AWAY THE PERSON WAITING FOR THEM....

We stop the roaches coming across one way and then they have a hundred other ways to get across..One thing that would stop them would be citizens to have the right to shoot if they do not stop the first time they were warned..If that happened then they might think twice about coming across..
