She really is stupid.

Nearly all of them were obviously born in America. I think Alexander Hamilton was born on one of the Caribbean Islands but just about all the rest were born in North America.

Depends on who you classify as a Founder.

Limiting it to the members of the Constitutional Convention, Hamilton, as you note, was born in the West Indies. One was born in Scotland, two in England and four in Ireland. That 8 of the 55.

To use a slightly less rigorous definition of Founder, I think Tom Paine should qualify. He was born in England.
