They are saying they would have gone under eventually anyway, but I think there just employing CYA...not wanting to get overly political, or getting investigated by some gov't agency.

Hospice care has two elements, medical care and non-medical care. Typically, the patient pays out of pocket for the non-medical care. This gives them the option to raise those fees to cover their expenses.
I guess they don’t have enough paying customers.

Yes, shut down, but he said not until 2018-2019 but for Obamacare...that’s 4+ less years of service from this Hospice specifically due to Obamacare (and given another 4 years, it’s not out of the realm of possibility they could have found other funding to stay afloat even longer).
