Cruz Responds to Hillary on Benghazi: The Truth ‘Is Not Partisan’
National Review Online ^ | Molly Wharton

Though Hillary Clinton told CNN on Tuesday that there are a lot of questions about the Benghazi attack that need to be answered, Senator Ted Cruz thinks that the former secretary of state is trying to block those answers from getting out.

“It is not partisan to simply say we should get to the truth — that should be a bipartisan objective,” he told CNN. ”But unfortunately, Secretary Clinton from the beginning has stonewalled on this rather than acting as a partner to get to the bottom of what happened.”

In the aftermath of the attack, Cruz said, Clinton’s chief political aide Cheryl Mills told career foreign-service officers to not talk about what happened. He noted one of the basic questions that needs to be answered is:  ”Why did the administration tell the American people a story that was demonstrably false?”

Clinton views the issue “purely through the lens of partisan politics,” Cruz said. “We owe it to the men and women serving this country to get to the bottom, not to play politics with it.”

Stay on her, Ted. She’s on a charm offensive that needs to be stopped in its tracks.

Bret Baer’s attitude seemed this AM was that he was forced to lay off thighness last night.

Agree totally with Cruz. There could not have been a better man to chair the investigation. The road blocks he will face will be for the purpose of hiding the corrupt communists empire on the handing heavy armament to the rebels and now have fallen in the hands of terrorists. We have a huge corrupt communists Democrat empire to expose.

The “charm offensive” that Herself, Madame Benghazi, The Cold & Joyless has engaged upon is on a bumpy start right out of the gate. That non-interview with Greta van Susteren showed how corrosive that charm is up close and ugly, and maybe it should be called “offensive charm”.

Herself cannot tell a lie, but she is also equally incapable of telling the truth, as if she could tell the difference. The invented narrative may be very true in some alternative universe, but it does not bear much resemblance to reality in this part of the space-time continuum.

mccain, linda graham, how many republican accomplices and enablers would you like ? there is a long list.

who do you think you are telling anyone what and where to post an opinion which is an exercise of a constitutional right of free speech ?

you really embarassed yourself. i will gladly take “drivel” all day long as opposed to what you did. after some thought, you might consider an apology.

Oh well, I did say lets grow up and that’s always rude I guess

I just wish people would look at this the way the dems do. They’re not going to attack BO like republicans attack their own

And republican pols usher the dems along, in order to well for whatever reason

That doesn’t include Cruz

a lot of real Americans keep waiting for someone to show some leadership and strength and directly confront obozo.

all we have gotten in that regard is weak politicians just being weak politicians.

the accomodating actions of repubs because they are cowards and because they are afraid of being called ‘racists’ (or so it seems) is indefensible.
