Open primaries are ludicrous. Primaries are for a party to choose its nominee. Its similar to a vote in a club or corporation: only shareholders or members are eligible to vote. Open primaries make no sense.

Why is it that YOU understand that, and I understand that and the GOP does not understand that? Who makes the rules that there is an open primary? Here in KS, the democrat primary is open and the Republican is closed. I registered independent but I wanted to vote in Republican primary so I had to change affiliation.

No to open Primary……Those who voted Dem can’t vote this time….but if U did not voted 1st time U can vote not matter party.
