The president will not, we are told, present a prepackaged decision to congressional leaders but will instead seek consensus.

He wants congress to go along with his cockamamy plan to he can blame it on them when it fails.

Obama ignored the advice of military leaders when he drew down the troops in Iraq so precipitously. Now he's reaping the results of that folly.

Soldiers who risked their lives in Iraq only to have the country return to chaos have the right to feel betrayed. How committed are they going to be to any efforts in Iraq directed by Obama? Obama has squandered the trust of our men and women in uniform.

I don’t know. I felt like if a bunch of Muslims couldn’t govern themselves after ten years of blood and monetary sacrifice from us, then that’s too doggone bad.

Their own army runs away—what’s the remedy for that? If only we had stayed and held their hands for another ten years,...We don’t owe them a @#@XX@@ thing. We should have left after we satisfied ourselves that there were no WMD’s in Iraq. If they want to kill each other, that’s not our problem.
