At what level is the stipulation that only those that voted in the primary can vote in the runoff?

If you voted ‘Rat in the primary, can you vote ‘Repub in the runoff? Or, only if you voted ‘Repub in the primary can you vote ‘Repub in the runoff?

If you are registered ‘Repub, didn’t vote in the primary, presume you are locked out of the runoff.

And if Gramps pulls it out trashing the system he will expect Republicans to vote for him in November. He can go to hell if that happens!

I really don’t think blacks can be led in that direction. They know when they are being used.

“At what level is the stipulation that only those that voted in the primary can vote in the runoff?”

There is no such requirement; there is, however, a prohibition on voting in the GOP run-off if one voted in the Democrat primary a month before. Thus, Democrats who want Cochran to win only can seek out Democrats who didn’t vote in the Democrat primary (because they sat it out or because they crossed over and voted in the GOP primary).

Bet you most of the people targeted by this GOTV didn’t even vote in the first primary. But Cochran probably doesn’t know that. He’s probably getting fleeced by the brothers.

Thanks.

Doesn’t sound like too serious a threat... those that are motivated to participate have done so. They have to motivate those that couldn’t care less.

GOP-e and bi-partisan crony capitalist interests unite, because what they all fear is radical flat tax zero political engineering in a revolutionary tax code, eliminating the food the crony capitalists and the Liberals/Progressives/Marxists all jointly feed on, campaigning to “reform” the tax code and legislating to favor their special interests and supply power to themselves as the givers and takers of federal largess.

No.

Or, only if you voted ‘Repub in the primary can you vote ‘Repub in the runoff?

Again, no. If you voted Republican in the primary or if you did not vote in the primary at all then you can vote in the runoff, regardless of party affiliation.

Whatever it takes to keep another conservative from getting into their precious US Senate!!

That’s been their game plan in EVERY election.

There was mention of “walking around money” in the article, but who knows. Beyond that, does anyone know what message these Cochran operatives are directing toward the black community to convince them it is to their advantage to vote for Cochran?

This is why McDaniels can't express too much confidence. I hope he's going after unaffiliated voters, too.

That being said, if this scheme works and RINOs keep the nomination from McDaniels, it's hard to imagine how Cocharan would win in November. It would be the end of all pretense of civility between RINOs and constitutional conservatives.

MS then has the same policy as TX. Let's hope MS is not as stuck on incumbency as TX.

If anything they're worse when it comes to incumbency.
