Heilemann Castigates Kristol's Call for Iraq Intervention: 'Absurd'

Liberal vs. neo-con. Isolationist vs. interventionist. The clash over Iraq strategy between John Heilemann and Bill Kristol on today's Morning Joe had it all.

Things got heated as Heilemann assailed Kristol's call for intervention as "absurd." Kristol retaliated by suggesting that Heilemann's invocation of "American blood" was a cheap "rhetorical line."

Thanks for watching/posting, Mark.

An upstart republic fading fast into bankruptcy/oblivion/socialism for totalitarian wannabes thinking it can change the history/destiny of totalitarians who have been around for nearly 1400 years and are the greatest anti-truth, anti-freedom, anti-individual, anti-life totalitarians in the history of earth.

Jihad advances. (who are these clowns on teevee?)

From, “The Quranic Concept of War”…

The universalism of Islam, in its all-embracing creed, is imposed on the be- lievers as a continuous process of warfare, psychological and political, if not strictly military. . . . The Jihad, accordingly, may be stated as a doctrine of a permanent state of war, not continuous fighting.”— Majid Khadduri

There’s a whole lot that can be done short of sending American troops. On our part, we could stop stalling on sending the Iraqis arms that they want to purchase with their own money. Step-up pilot training. Help them to launch their own surveillance satellite and drone technology. Sanction Arab regimes that are arming ISIS.

For their part, the Iraqis need to restore discipline and fighting spirit in their army, if necessary by shooting cowards and incompetents.

The Iraqi army spent the last decade knowing that if they didn’t do the job, Uncle Sam would do it for them. This had exactly the results one would expect (i.e. it made them weak and lazy).

"Kristol has no credibility on the issue."

Its not just Kristol. Every NeoCon is out in a co-ordinated full court press agitating to re-invade Iraq
