Obama Motors is the template for Obama Care.

I wonder if the government could be sued for insider trading. They had to know about this rolling disaster long before it happened.

They forgot the half million Camaros that were just added to the list. Anybody that buys GM is just asking for it.

Are we all still waiting for Obama to make his Mad As Hell GM speech? along with another speech regarding the 8 million children crossing the border speech too? I think he would of been mad as hell if they only crossed in “Deep Blue Callyfornia”, cause then he would have to pay to ship them to Ohio/Penn/and Texas.

The company says that until the repairs are made, owners should remove everything from their keychains and drive with only the key in the ignition.

You should do this anyway; that way if you are car jacked, the thief only gets your ignition key and not the keys to everything you own.

LOL!

Anyone else recall how Toyota et all were slammed for their recalls?
Will the press dog out GM for this in the same manner?
[I know they won’t]

So they are actually recalling the keys, and not the cars?

ROFL....pretty soon it might be wise to find a really old car...OH NO, they were taken up by ‘Cash For Clunkers’

Why? Because they didn’t have GPS or tracking methods.

GM, check for rusty brake lines as long as you have the vehicles.

Life has been great with not owning or needing a car for the last ten years.

Oh tell us, Alex, how come you don’t need a car? I think I know: you left these wretched United States and moved to The Philippines, didn’t you?

Isn’t it lovely there, Alex? Too bad most of us can’t be there, huh?

my life’s’been great ever since we’ve had Fords. ever since the mid 90s’when they shared tech with mazda their electrical systems got far’ far better and they are putting out high quality stuff -at least the models we want - their suv lineup. pickups look nice.

Sorry Rimshot Joe. You were wrong again as usual. Al Qaeda is alive and kicking ass, GM is toast.

I am sure they make fine cars now, but I remember the old joke, FORD means “fix or repair daily” :)
I do not recall ever having a ford in my family’s life, and that’s back to the 40s.

Remember the old days when lefties hated GM? This string of flaws and corrupt decisions would have revved them up big-time.

When we lived in Tokyo ( for 10 years ) we never owned a car since public transport is super fab , but here in the boondocks of Kumamoto where we now reside a car is a necessity . I don’t drive , but my wife owns a Honda Life ( 660CC engine with turbo ) that has to be one of the most reliable cars in the world . She’s on her 3rd ( one totalled in an accident the winter before last ) and loves it . Haven’t owned a GM product since 1973 - a Camaro Z-28 - and that was a lemon ! Only lemons I ever owned were made in either the US or UK . Every Japanese-made car I’ve / we’ve owned was super reliable .

So obviously these problems existed well before CEO Mary Bara took over. I fell compelled to applaud her for making this happen, even though it is a terrible blight on the GM name (er, and perhaps a few lawsuits).
