I just Geiko because they are cheaper. I could no longer afford Farmers, and neither could I afford Allstate, and other major insurance due ot unemployment

Thanks! Looking it up now, I guess it’s military? Never served so I doubt I could go that route.

Any other alternatives? There has to be some Chick-Fil-A of insurers out there. :)

USAA is great. Have auto, personal and homeowners insurance through them. They were 1/2 the price for homeowners than anyone else. I have had several competitors start their sales pitch to me about how great their insurance is. When I tell them I have USAA they usually all say something along the lines of “Oh ... yeah I’m guessing you don’t want to change then.”

I am sure it’s different for all of us but Geiko was more expensive than State Farm for me.

Claud, there are a number of ways to qualify, someone in your family serving, a parent etc. You’re welcome and best of luck!

They sure are and we’ve had similar discussions with other companies. I cannot believe the amount we were paying Allstate and it’s now down to slightly under 1/3 with better coverage. We were so stupid.

My dad and grandfather both served. In the Italian army. :)

We don’t have any US servicemen in our family, but I will investigate further.

I used to be the biggest “buy American” guy in my whole county, always going out-of-my-way to support American companies and business. For years. But now, with all these American corporations embracing perversion, deviancy, and outright evil, I’ll be damned if I’m going to walk any extra mile for them. I’m doing everything I can to avoid any purchases or dealings with them whatsoever.

Every company that bends over for this depravity can go belly up as far as I’m concerned. May they all rot in hell.

Same thing happened to me with black activists.

I deal with someone one-on-one, I could give a crap about skin color or what they do with their privates in private.

But if someone is going to lead with his/her grievance, and weakness, and special status-—I’m out of there, I’m done.

Saw this on a site listing companies that donated to conservative candidates/causes. The % is of all the money they donated.

USAA was 88%
Allstate (surprisingly)70%
Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company 64%
State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company 64%

Good for your dad and grandfather! Long live Italy!

Interesting! I wonder how they define conservative.

If I can help it, I’m through giving money to these massive politically correct corporations who sell out morality to Mammon. So many good Christian families are out there scraping to get by in this economy, I’d rather give money to them or as close as I can get anyway.

That’s probably a function of geography more than anything else. USAA is based in Texas, while the others are based in more liberal areas. More liberal/conservative area —> more liberal/conservative employees —> more liberal/conservative donations by employees.

Okay. I didn’t know. Hopefully he changed from being a major dirtbag before passing.

and kids really do not need to see this

This is the worst part of the whole phenomenon. Clinton started it IMO when night after night of headlines were about whether blowjobs were sex.

well, when you play those kinds of games, the door is open for extensive homosexual perversion. I feel sorry for the millions of kids who are not going to have a satisfying marriage because of this disgusting trend.

I’m in the same boat. I’m a “buy American” type, but I have also chosen foreign to avoid supporting the homosexual agenda.

hotwire has 2 gay dads looking for a perfect hotel getaway, and mention that someone’s mom is watching their kid.
1 of the guys says” it is all about getting some sleep” and the other homo says”Oh! lucky me then” or something like that
Blech.
