Letter to the Editor: Obama is no ordinary weakling
Those who compare the bare-chested conqueror of the Crimea with the metro-sexual ruler of the United States and find our emperor weak to the point of deserving ridicule, miss the essential strength of President Obama.
Its no ordinary weakling who can turn a once-respected country into an international joke; reduce Congress to a gaggle of sniveling sycophants; turn the worlds finest medical system into a failed third-rate socialist nightmare with a stroke of his pen; shatter our Constitution without attempted recourse by the sons and daughters of frontiersmen and pioneers whose blood was used to write that inspired document; and turn the people of our once-united states into a herd of competing minorities who, like suckling pigs, are each afraid to lose his place on thegovernment teat should he raise his voice to protest the ruin of our country.
So dont denigrate the nonentity ruler who has overcome his uncertain ancestry and ludicrous incompetence to do what no other king or dictator has been able to do in our 237-year history: He has destroyed America.
Reis R. Kash
Springfield, OR
...not destroyed yet.
From Eugene Or, capital of leftism in OR.
Great letter.
I think I will send it to my Buds in OR>
Much of America is actually responsible...for ignoring God...and then voting Obama in.
Getting back to God is our only real hope!
The left is nothing more than philosophers and...boy-lovers. Honestly, who else are they?
Figuratively speaking, America is experiencing death by a thousand cuts, an ancient Chinese method of torture and execution. As powserful and vibrant as America and its institutions once were, it will take even the Obamanation and his "Progressive" successors some time to effect the nation's demise.
Bingo.
Its NOT incompetence. Its deliberate - High Crimes and Misdemeanors + Adhering to the enemies of the United States, providing them with aid and comfort.
An impeachable traitor.
Smart writer. I am amazed the paper published it....
Right AND, “O” destroyed our status in the world...
How many decades and how much American blood on battlefields of the world did it cost to achieve the status we HAD?
What will it take to retrieve it.. if we can?
I initially missed that this was a letter to the editor, and thought “my Eugene has changed since I left Oregon.”
Fantastic letter and well written. It would be even better if his name were Wares R. Kash.
The writer lives in Springfield just east of Eugene. An 80 year old man who I suspect learned English as a second language. His syntax has no trace of colloquialisms, Much like William F. Buckley Jr.
Linky no worky.
I know Springfield—my mother grew up in Lowell and I still have family in the area. Even without that, I graduated from Marshfield in ‘88, back when the Midwestern League was strong and included MHS and NBHS, so I know Springfield—and Eugene.
