They will need to attach a rider to that legislation that outlaws freak boat accidents.
Screw you Harry!
I will NEVER register a firearm!
Come and get ‘em!!
And I call for guillotining all liberals.
Think seriously about which action would be of greater benefit to the nation.
I wonder how the NRA feels about their endorsement of Reid now?
That would take a while, unless you hired some help. Just think of the number of jobs it would create.
Indict and convict mob-connected senators first.
***Harry Reid’s new push for universal gun registration.***
Felons are not required to register their firearms.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haynes_v._United_States
“The original Haynes decision continues to block state prosecutions of criminals who fail to register guns as required by various state law gun registration schemes.”
2. Confiscation
3. Extermination.
Hey Harry how did that work out in Ct?
Stuff it Harry! You cattle rustling biotch!
§ 1890. The importance of this article will scarcely be doubted by any persons, who have duly reflected upon the subject. The militia is the natural defence [sic] of a free country against sudden foreign invasions, domestic insurrections, and domestic usurpations of power by rulers. It is against sound policy for a free people to keep up large military establishments and standing armies in time of peace, both from the enormous expenses, with which they are attended, and the facile means, which they afford to ambitious and unprincipled rulers, to subvert the government, or trample upon the rights of the people [emphases added]. The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been considered, as the palladium of the liberties of a republic; since it offers a strong moral check against the usurpation and arbitrary power of rulers; and will generally, even if these are successful in the first instance, enable the people to resist and triumph over them. And yet, though this truth would seem so clear, and the importance of a well regulated militia would seem so undeniable, it cannot be disguised, that among the American people there is a growing indifference to any system of militia discipline, and a strong disposition, from a sense of its burthens, to be rid of all regulations. How it is practicable to keep the people duly armed without some organization, it is difficult to see. There is certainly no small danger, that indifference may lead to disgust, and disgust to contempt; and thus gradually undermine all the protection intended by this clause of our national bill of rights. Joseph Story, Amendment II, Commentaries on the Constitution 3
So with a little help from yall as to exactly what such an amendment should do, given current chatter about a constitutional convention, please consider the following. Given Storys clarification of 2A, the states need to reinforce 2A with an amendment to prohibit the feds from knowing the number and type of firearms that citizens have. After all, you dont want potential enemies to know how much fire power you have.
In oher words, gun registration is a threat to national security imo. (Why doesn't Reid think of these things?)
I challenge anyone on this forum (a few leftie disrupters do lurk here before the Viking Kittens dispatch them) to give me one instance of universal gun registration that did not follow with gun confiscation within ten years.
German Jews registered their guns as loyal German Citizens. That worked real well for the Jews. They were rounded up and like cattle and murdered. They had nothing to defend themselves with.
A tyrannical central government fears a free and armed citizen. A tyrannical central government knows an armed and honest man is a citizen and this same man or woman without arms is a subject. GUN REGISTRATION IS THE PRELUDE TO CONFISCATION
The obvious effect? More deaths during more home invasions centered on obtaining registered guns of law abiding suckers.
Isn’t about time this old horse thief Harry Reid was introduced to a tree, rope, and some assembly required? If it works with him, I can think of a whole group of Congress critters and Senators to test.
And here comes the Gun Rush of 2014!
Never trust any politician ho will not trust you with guns.
i would prefer immediate execution for proposing such legislation. right on the spot by the sergeant-at-arms.
ESAD, Harry.
Oh, and revoke his life membership while they're visiting his rating.
