14 ... Then those idiots in the rotten apple shouldn't have elected him!

IIRC, ~27% of the registered voters in the combined 5 boroughs bothered to vote in that election.

Correct. And you darned well betcha that I wasn't one that voted for this abomination. He is some kind of Commie weirdo, a white man who would dearly love to crawl into a black man's skin so he could be black. He has a black ex-lesbian wife upon whom he pours endless praises. From what I've heard her say in the press, I cannot imagine the origin of his adoration. Her verbage is strictly Commie crap, not particularly intelligent, right along Commie party lines. For this, she gets an office in City Hall and a $170,000/year assistant, recruited off of Al Sharpton's staff.

He is seeking to create more racial, economic, and political divisiveness, right according to the Commie playbook. He has totally screwed the teachers over, and I await to see his attempt to do the same to the police and firemen, although THEIR union leaders have stones which the teachers union "leader" utterly lacks.

It is very telling that his first campaign was to retire the carriage horses, depriving their owners of a livelihood, condemning the horses he purports to care about to the slaughterhouse and, what a coincidence, opening up the extremely valuable property upon which the stables stand to his zillionaire real estate buddies.

Some "man of the people". Frickin' fraud is more like it.

There was a Republican running against Commissar de Blasio. If the New Yawkers cared anything about their city or the country they would have voted for the Republican.

Even if Gerald Ford wasn't the greatest (and he certainly wasn't), I had the sense to vote for him instead of Jimmuh Carter and it was my first presidential vote. The people in New York voted for someone even worse!
