I have a certain amount of sympathy with the "middle class is being destroyed" story - because it's true, and, if it continues unabated, the nation will lie in ruins.

Of course, the Marxist-Leninist analysis is false, and their program is ruinous - but the next big breakout national movement/candidate will address this issue in a big way. He/she will synthesize seeming opposites and form a new majority.
