How to totally destroy this “letter” and its arguments:
1.) The OT shows the heartache that Abraham, Jacob, David and others experienced from polygamy, and the OT shows explicitely how it was polygamy itself, not just the normal marital problems experienced by all, that caused trouble for these men.
2.) Jesus Christ said in Matthew “A man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife [not wives] and the TWO shall become ONE flesh.”
Jesus Christ outlawed polygamy by his word. If people wish to willingly disobey then if they desire hellfire, then they can have at it, I guess....
Now, if a man gives his life to Christ, and say was a Muslim before accepting Christ, divorce may not be an option, as God said He hates divorce.

If a man is a Muslim, for instance, and married say 2,3 or a max of 4 wives under Islam and later accepted Christ as savior, then he may be stuck in that mess, as God said in MalachiMalachi that He hates divorce.
