I will NEVER support those who favor killing babies.

Period.

That I understand. It will bring God’s hand of judgment on us more swiftly if we give up fighting that battle.

It’s that simple.

Grimes supports killing babies.
McConnell doesn’t.

I’d rather a Democrat get the seat than a traitor to the cause.

Whatever.

If it's close, that move could cost everyone control of the committees.

There's a lot more at stake than just his sorry @$$.

I am not telling people not telling people not to vote for McConnell, but your naive attitude is playing right into their hands. We have 2 more years of Obama and 8 years of Clinton left. In 10 years, how many ultra-leftist abortion extremists is McConnell going to pack into the Supreme Court for them?

I despise McConnell, but wake up people. We need to take back the Senate or we’ll have two more years of Obama getting his way! He needs to be stopped at all costs1

with McConnell out, at least you have the chance to put someone in charge, either as Majority Leader, or as Minority Leader who IS a conservative and who will do what they can to stop Amnesty AND Abortion.

Win, Win!

I understand this.

Supporting Grimes is supporting one who wants to kill babies.

Supporting McConnell, with all his other faults, is supporting one who does not support killing babies.

I have to answer to God; not to some calculus about democrats or rinos controlling a Senate.

We stay God’s hand of judgment when we fight against killing babies.

We have a lawless government and it panders to the will of the people who want free sex without consequences.

The solution to the genocide of the unborn is not going to happen by empowering government to supposedly stop it.

The parents, the church and this people need to be taught morality again. If we were a moral people, we would have no need to do anything about abortion mills.

They would wither on the vine of existence and die.

Looking to government to solve this issue is really no different than looking to government to provide a meal ticket.

Like with McCarthy instead of Cantor?

The issue, soconpubbie, is that innocent little bundle with big eyes and God’s angel watching. That baby needs someone to protect him. Who will draw his sword and let no one pass?

God put us in this system that grants us the chance to vote. That makes the government our responsibility, and it makes each of our votes a decision in the eyes of God.

Do we protect the babies or do we let them get killed?

Our vote says where we stand.

I say demographics render your example moot. The majority of voters will continue to elect those who will take from producers and give to the parasites. That is human nature of the majority, and it’s reality. If you cannot realize this from recent and ancient history, you have not been paying attention or have not been properly instructed in the realm of human history, IMO.

It wasn’t always this way in this country, but prosperity has brought us to this juncture.

it doesn’t matter what happens in November. The course we are on is irreversible at the ballot box. Demographics are proof of my statement.

Again, deny reality at your own peril. Most of our citizens are fat, happy and content in the context that they are not prepared to rock the boat and will accept the commands given to them from the federal government. If you believe that is hyperbole, then you are delusional, IMO.

Naral (nation abortion rights action league) gives Mitch McConnell a 0% rating

Those ratings are virtually meaningless. The most damage elected official do is not in votes anyway.

Look at Orin Hatch. He supposedly had a good pro-life rating, yet he did more to help abortion than any of the Democrat Senators. He made a deal with the Democrats that all their pro-abortion Supreme Court nominees would be rubber stamped, but any pro-life nominees specifically would have a higher bar.

As the head of the Senate Judiciary Committee from 1995-2005 he deliberately stuffed the courts with rabidly pro-abortion judges. The pro-abortion groups actually laugh at us, because they know what he did for their side and we were supporting him. But go ahead, trumpet, his 0% NARAL rating.

I will not support pro-abortion over pro-life.

Ever.

There is no logic that justifies it. That vote will be cast with God watching.

By the way, you are a pro-lifer and you quote NARAL and put your faith in their honesty. Makes a lot of sense.

0% Naral rating

And what will be the rating of a senator who supports late-term abortion?

"There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics." - Mark Twain.

I don't recognize NARAL as a reliable organization. The fact that you, an otherwise sensible person, is very disheartening.

Supporting McConnell, with all his other faults, is supporting one who does not support killing babies.

Like everything else with McConnell, he pays lip service during campaigns about his 'pro-life' stance - but when push comes to shove - he does NOTHING to put a stop to it.

Its just like McConnell claiming "I fought Obama's War On Coal every step of the way'. Really? What do we have to show for it? Has McConnell gone before the cameras to bash the EPA and hold hearings about this?

NO. Silence. He helps engineer bills to pass in secret for the Democrats and when they have enough votes to pass what he agrees with - he votes 'no' - so he can say "I opposed that bill".

He does the same thing with everything else. Where is his stance against the feds ordering KY to recognize homosexual marriages???

Voting for an ACTUAL Pro-life Tea Party Conservative in November instead of McConnell is not supporting someone who supports abortion, despite the Ruling Class talking points intended to intimidate.

Do you REALLY think Mitch is the keystone in this arch?

maybe we are losing this country because of spineless career “GOP leaders” like McConnell who threaten to eat our young because they are too “conservative”

we wont get the country back unless the old guard moves on
