When the war on terror started, the big Democrat talking point was that it would be "another Vietnam". Well they have made it so. They have done it before, and would rather throw a nation to the wolves than be wrong.
I would say the dims would rather destroy the nation. They want America remade I to a marxist state. It’s what they are. Being wrong might be part of the consideration but not a large part.
