Just a hint to conservatives. Don’t run six conservatives against one RINO and expect anyone but the RINO to get 50%. Get the would-be challengers in a room, put the names in a hat, ask God’s guidance, and draw a name. That will be the candidate ALL those in the room will work to elect. It’s the only way to succeed.

Graham is more conservative than Lamar.

Brad Hutto (D) is identical to Graham. He might even pledge to vote against some liberal judges if they are bad for business.

Graham did not oversee an amnesty bill get to Obama’s desk. He did not see cap and trade get to Obama’s desk.

But he did say:”Shut up, you don’t get a lawyer”. People like that.

Ousting Cantor was the most important thing that could be done.

I wonder if Graham could be a pick to replace Chuck Hagel after 2016.

Same thing happened in Wisconsin last time with Tommy Thompson. UGH. He used to be a terrific governor years ago, then went to DC, got politicized, big head. Came back, tried to run for senate, bumped off two good other guys, then LOST to gasp...... Tammy Baldwin. What an embarrassment for WI to be represented by such a person.

you make some excellent points.

here’s the key though.

in order to do some successful ‘RINO hunting’ we need the right gun (real conservative candidate) and the right ammo (real conservative issues that are clearly communicated).

since you were talking about US senate races, that’s obviously a statewide race, so there is much greater need for money and grassroots folks being more active.

no matter that the senators you targeted are clowns and need to go, it is still very difficult to unseat an incumbent.

As bad as it is to have Graham running in Nov. the idea that a dem would do better is ludicrous.
Two points.
When the freshman get to Washington the party leaders make it clear the freshman WILL vote as the whip wants them to , or their office is going to be in a broom closet.

A majority in each house is crucial to getting anything done in Washington. Even if Graham is a rino, his sitting on that side of the aisle counts.

IOW, hold your nose and vote for Graham in Nov.

You can knock Hatch off your list. He’s retiring

Then send a conservative willing to use the broom closet as an office and post pix of it daily on Facebook while mocking the hell out of the RINO that put it there.

Then do a podcast about his fellow ‘republicans’ RINO activities and how they are using politics to screw the people of his state.

Hardball.

hold your nose and vote for Graham in Nov.

For thirty years I've been hearing, "Hold your nose and vote for the RINO!" and this country is now nearly sunk. To Hell with that.

In the 2014 South Carolina primary, 187680 votes were cast for Republican Senate candidates ... 68944 votes were cast for Democrat Senate candidates. That's a 2.7 to 1 ratio. Odd that in 2012 Obama exceeded Romney 51% to 47% in a state where the Republican voters outnumber the Democrat voters almost 3-to-1, isn't it. Cross over voters. Graham is a closet Democrat and his Democrat supporters crossed over and voted for him in the primary. He's a reliable wolf in sheep's clothing and they aim to keep him in office or replace him with an unclothed wolf. The only way South Carolina gets rid of him is to allow Brad Hutto to defeat him.

My list to dislodge includes the following senators:

Harry Reid

Dick Durbin

Chuck Schumer

Barbara Boxer

Al Franken

This gang of 5 have hurt me more than any other congress critters.

There seems to be a lot of anger from Conservatives over the win by David Brat—At least on FR.

Rush was raving today, too—Turned him off.

How about we savor what Professor Brat accomplished for 24-hours, and then refocus on the battles ahead?

If I were in SC, TN, TX (I am), I would leave the U.S. Senate race blank. Vote on other offices but not U.S. Senate. Only so much treachery can one endure

Tommy Thompson got the big head; Paul Ryan is really Paul; Tommy Thompson Ryan.

Marco Rubio has done a lot of good on conservative viewpoints and seems to have burned his RINO bridges. He got played by McCain and Schummer before he had time to see where the invasion of the US is heading, from a DC perspective. I’d be interested in hearing what he has to say about that issue now before putting him on the trash heap of RINO backstabbers.

Wikipedia puts the 2014 numbers a bit higher than mine : 110,168 (D) to 300,763 (R). Still, the ratio is about 3-to-1. In 2008, the numbers were 146,660 (D) to 278,945 (R). I wonder if 35,000 or so democrat voters got confused and accidentally voted in the republican primary for Lindsey Graham. Boy, did he ever get "lucky".

It would be good if a conservative could run for the Graham seat as an Independent.

He just might win, and the vote for Graham is sure to be split.

Which means Lindsey will have to pay for his own lipstick in January 2015.

NO MORE voting for RINO backstabbers! If the country is goin’ down anyway (and it will with RINOs in charge) I’d just as soon have the dems stuck with the mess that’s been created since the presidency of George 1.
