I thought I read that even Breitbart wasn’t reporting this as a likely upset.

There’s a reason they call it a ‘bubble’. They speak only to those of like minds and read only what they consider progressive writers. When a sudden change of direction hits them between the eyes they are dumbfounded and amazed, like children seeing their first fireworks show....................

It should be obvious to anyone paying attention what the real reason for Eric Cantor's loss is. Cantor failed to do what is expected from all incumbent Republican candidates these days.

Cantor failed to secretly fund a Libertarian third candidate to confuse voters and split the vote.

In his district, with the way that he neglected to maintain a good relationship with his constituents, it may not have mattered. But having not tried at all to run a dark horse to dilute his opposition shows that he was never fit to lead the GOPe.

I noted that yesterday:

Breitbart is doing great news reporting. The unknown idiosyncrasies such as The Times-Dispatch not even mentioning amnesty and Cantor’s adds are all lost without specific reporting. The lies of omission are always used against an opponent. Thanks Breitbart, well done.

Eric Cantor represents everything that is wrong with the GOP. Cantor stood for nothing and fell for everything. The GOP, which used to stand for principles of limited Government, individual liberty, traditional family values, property rights, national pride, and a strong national defense now stands for none of that.

The GOP has become the party of multinational corporations and the interests of big money. They no longer represent the people whose votes put them in the positions of power. They represent themselves. And they are all a bunch of power hungry liars and crooks.

Watched the Five on FOX this afternoon and even they can’t come to a conclusion on what is was that upset the Cantor apple cart.

I guess they’re afraid to face the truth that we’re beyond fed up and ready to take up arms.

Dave Wasserman, the editor of the non-partisan Cook Political Report, conceded that the media did not know the "mood" of the primary voters because, "Most of us weren't reading Breitbart News."

Mainstream reporters know the 'mood' in their newsroom - and from the sources democrats hand them... This is not a surprise...

I love Breitbart.com, but even they didn’t predict this upset.
