The president, as chief magistrate, is constitutionally obligated to enforce laws passed by Congress.
Instead, he ignores the laws he doesn’t like, particularly the Immigration and Naturalization laws.

Article I, Section 8: Congressional Powers specifically enumerated in the Constitution

The Congress shall have Power:

To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;
However, they do nothing but demur to the executive branch.

Our federal government is AWOL, except when they need money.
What good are they, other than for eating out our substance?
