He has company. Crick (co-discover of DNA) also believes that aliens planted the DNA “seed”, as it is too complex to have “just happened”. (BTW - I read an article that DNA has some sort of “mirror” strands, and it has twice as much information as previously thought.)

The article doesnt say that he doesnt believe in evolution, it says he believes life began in space. Evolution isnt mentioned. Microbes from outer space led to human life implies evolution between the two. Humans just didn't fall out of the sky already fully developed.
