Yes it is.

Looks like 40 percent of the precincts reporting and its 58/42 percent Brat (15,000 to 11,000 votes).

I’m not too familiar with VA. Is Brat a true Conservative?

From what I understand, yes. He’s got to be better than Cantor!

********************************************************************

I sure hope it keeps up. I’ve seen some in the mainstream media earlier saying that if Cantor got less than 60% of the vote, the base would be sending him a message on illegal immigration.

I hope the message he gets is get the hell out of our district’s congressional seat!

“Looks like 40 percent of the precincts reporting and its 58/42 percent Brat (15,000 to 11,000 votes).”

This is amazing! If the House Majority Leader gets defeated with a margin like that, it’ll send shockwaves through the entire country!!

Close to half the vote in and Brat still up by 58-42; I don’t know what county (or Richmond City) that Cantor is from but so far he doesn’t seem to be winning any county by a wide margin that would enable him to overtake Brat.

I don’t think so either. I’ve never seen anything like this!!

Candidates Votes Percent
Brat 20,467 = 58.2
Cantor 14,684 = 41.8
