Bergdahl was the ONLY deserter in the Afghanistan war. The ONLY one you New York Times editors. None of the other people in his ‘raggedy unit’ deserted. None of the other people in any of the other ‘units’ deserted either... Just Bergdahl.
I’m going out on a limb here - it was Bergdahl’s who was wrong... It had nothing to do with his unit - or others would have deserted. Bergdahl was weak and stupid at best - at worst a traitor. What’s YOUR excuses - you editors at the New York Times? Why do you attempt to provide a lame cover for a deserter? Who’s side are you on?
